Statue of Paavo Nurmi

This is a statue of Paavo Nurmi, one of the most famous atheletes of Finland. Over the course of three Olympiads during the 1920's, he won 9 Gold and 3 Silver medals.  This statue is at the entrance to the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki where Nurmi lit the Olympic torch in 1952. Contrary to the statue, he did not do it nude.
