In Copenhagen, we signed up for what was billed as a "Culinary Tour of Copenhagen." So naturally the first place we went was the royal palace.

I love the 18th Century garb paired with the automatic rifle.

Finally, our guide had us excited about Dannish fare when she began talking about the open-faced sandwiches that Denmark is famous for.  Unfortunately, we discovered that our tour was about being educated on Copenhagen cuisine, not actually tasting any.  We did get to see these pretty pictures of sandwiches.

Our next stop was to go where our guide claimed we could get the "best cup of coffee in Copenhagen." It turned out it was in a shopping mall. However, through the window I was able to get a shot of this interesting architectural feature.
